Small House is a small terraced house project by Unemori Architects in Tokyo, Japan. The designer creates this building in contemporary style. This is a four level floor tiny residence that stands above 366 square foot area. It lies in densely home environments with a small street and a lot of power poles on a side. The aim of this building is to exceed that narrow living but provide a harmonious space for a couple with their children.
Gravel yard cover the building surroundings. Glass sliding doors show this small terraced house interior design with white walls and wooden floors from outside. Sliding doors are really suitable for small houses because they will not need too much space. There is a small space inside the entrance door with cabinets for shoes and other outfits. Right beside that, white spiral stairs connect each floor from the half basement until the rooftop area.
The bottom floor behind the entrance is a bedroom with small and narrow closet below the entrance floor. Sliding doors and also windows on the other side of the wall are the natural light source for that space. The upper second floor is a dining room. There is a wooden countertop and cabinets with stove there. They look harmoniously similar as the floor and ceiling. The designer applies glass wall beside the stairs and a big door on the opposite side. If the occupant opens them at the same time, it will look more spacious than before.
The next upper floor is a spare room. It has narrow ceiling and big door as the lower floor. This space can be an additional bedroom or even an entertain space. This area has natural light from the terrace by spiral stairs space. The designer separates the bathrooms into two diagonal rooms on the terrace. The ideas for small terraced house interior design result a bathtub and shower in one room and toilet with sink in other one.
